J.D. Miles, IV
President, J.D. Miles & Sons, Inc.
J.D. Miles, IV joined the family firm in 2001. J.D. was promoted to President of J.D. Miles & Sons, Inc. and Vice President of Miles Roofing, Inc. in 2006.
He oversees the day-to-day operations of the commercial and residential roofing divisions and serves as Manager of Information Services.
J.D. currently holds the following positions within the community:
- Vice Chairman of the Chesapeake Public Schools Education Foundation
- Treasurer of the Chesapeake Alliance
- Board Member of the Chesapeake Division of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce
- President and Board Member of the Chesapeake Sports Club
- Chairman of the Great Bridge Impact Club of the Chesapeake Rotary Club
- Member of the National Association of Parliamentarians
J.D. is a graduate of the 2005 class of the National Roofing Contractors Association’s Future Executives Institute. He is also a graduate of the 2006 class of Ignite Chesapeake. J.D. was formerly Senior MIS Consultant at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN for 7 years. He graduated from Vanderbilt University.
