Ray Coykendall

Ray began his roofing career with our firm in 1985 as a sheet metal apprentice right out of high school. Through hard work and dedication, he quickly advanced within the company, becoming a sheet metal foreman within 3 years and successfully supervised multiple sheet metal projects. Ray built a reputation for quality workmanship and dependable project execution.

In 1999, Ray transitioned into the office, taking on estimating and project management responsibilities. Today, as Vice President, he leads the company’s sales efforts while overseeing the commercial roofing division. His responsibilities range from managing service and repair work to directing complex commercial roofing projects valued in the millions of dollars.

Dedicated to continuous professional development, Ray completed the Sheet Metal Apprenticeship Program at Norfolk Vocational Technical Center in 1992 and graduated from the Roofing Industry Educational Institute (RIEI) in 1994. He currently serves as an NRCA Pro Certification Assessor, helping evaluate roofing professionals, and also oversees roofing competitors at SkillsUSA competitions, supporting the next generation of skilled tradespeople.
